Each truck type has classes depending on the gross weight. The gross weight includes the payload—passengers, the truck’s weight, and whatever the truck is hauling.

Light-duty trucks are mostly full-size and compact pickup trucks. They fall into classes 1 to 3, with the following weights:

• Class 1: up to 6,000 pounds – Chevrolet Colorado, Ford Ranger, GMC Sierra & RAM
• Class 2A: 6,001 to 8,500 pounds – Ford F-150, RAM 1500, GMC Sierra 1500 & Chevrolet Silverado 1500
• Class 2B: 8,501 to 10,000 pounds -Chevrolet Silverado 2500, Sierra 2500, RAM 2500, & Ford F-250
• Class 3: 10,001 to 14,000 pounds – GMC Sierra 3500. RAM 3500, Ford F-350, & Chevrolet Silverado 3500

Medium-duty trucks are heavier and could be gas-powered or diesel-powered. They fall into classes 4 to 6:

• Class 4: 14,001 to 16,000 pounds -RAM 4500 and Ford F-450
• Class 5: 16,001 to 19,500 pounds – Ford F-550 and RAM 5500
• Class 6: 19,501 to 26,000 pounds – Ford F-650

It is a service designed to replace virtually all of the old, degraded transmission fluid with fresh fluid to help prolong the life of your transmission. It is much more than just a simple fluid drain from the transmission pan; we will check and then exchange virtually all of the old fluid from your transmission system with new fluid.

Fluid Level Check & Fluid Replacement :

We will check your fluid levels. Low fluid levels can lead to little lubrication of transmission parts, which speeds up wear and tear and leads to problems.

Fluid replacement should be done every 30,000 miles to promote proper vehicle operation. We’ll change your filter and replace the old fluid with fresh, new fluid. We’ll also clean your pan and replace the old pan gasket.

Tranny Flush:

Approximately every 30,000 miles, fluid begins to break down and loses its effectiveness. That leads to build-up and deposits, which can hasten the erosion of your transmission’s internal parts. Regular performing a tranny flush removes that debris and keeps your transmission clean. That will increase the life and performance of your transmission.
